Whew! Can't believe how much time has flown by since the last post! Just when one thinks one might have time to create, life gets in the way!
Finished working on a slinky wardrobe for a wonderful lady who was traveling to Kenya and needed wrinkle free clothes that would hold up well in any weather. Two jackets and one dress, which look wonderful on her. She has posted pictures on Facebook wearing different outfits. As soon as she gets back into the U.S. we will start working on another marker for her project.
The next project is an English Hunt Blazer by Suitability that will be worn by a young lady for spring Horse Shows. The princess style jacket will be made with a summer weight wool with double welt pockets and double back vents. First a muslin needs to be made and the pattern has to be changed so the lining can be bagged which makes the jacket more comfortable. Watch for updates on the simple steps to adapt a pattern for a bagging a jacket lining.
Also on my plate are 1950ish style dresses for employees to wear in a 1950s Diner at a car museum. This will be fun.
And the list goes on . . .
